The F Word

Having to reteach information makes me sad. My kinders really don't understand what "minus" or "take away" means. Every time they have numbers to subtract, they add instead. I become quite frustrated. I retaught the information today and some students seemed to understand how to subtract better, but I guess we will find out tomorrow.

Student 2: Yes.
Me: Why did you say that?
Student 2: To remind.

Student 2: (rolls eyes side to side, side to side, side to side)
Me: To remind what?
Student 2: Them.
Me: Do you mean to remind the students of the bad word?
Student 2: (Nods his head).
